Michael Lowry denies he was giving two fingers to Paul Murphy in the Dail today. He claims Paul Murphy was shouting abuse at him and he beckoned him with his two fingers to come over to his seat.

The number of houses built last year DECREASED by 6.7% according to the CSO.

A total of 30,330 homes were built in 2024.

Independent Ireland TD Michael Fitzmaurice says his technical group would welcome Carol Nolan and Mattie McGrath should they decide to follow Aontú out of the Regional Technical Group.

If they leave Michael Lowry's Regional Technical Group would be down to four, and lose speaking rights in the Dail
