When I was in high school I skipped freshman English, which means I never read the great Gatsby. Now I’m 47 and going back to read the books I wish I would have read and some other others. What books are you going back to read?

Rodin’s Burghers of Calais. There are many casts, but this one is at the Hirshhorn. They offered themselves as hostages to the English king in 1347 to end the city's siege. The queen interceded on behalf of them, fearing that their deaths would bring bad luck to her unborn child.
