I love the #eurips initiative! But to live up to its potential, it should be accepted an official #neurips conference location (similar to Mexico City) and not just an addon! Then we would save C02, rather than adding to it!!! What can we do to achieve this?

I still find it hard to believe that an international trade war was started based on such amateurish ‘mathematical’ modeling. On the positive side, Trump and his team provided great material for a very entertaining video by Matt Parker.

What the NSF is doing this week is damaging *generations* of scientific researchers and American investments in science. Billions of US tax payer dollars in investment, being thrown away, because of a fucking fishing expedition that is intended to terrorize and set the stage for a real witch hunt.
