It is such a great honour and privilege to be able to facilitate deep theological learning inside of the prison estate.

Premier Christianity published an article that captures just a glimpse of the beauty of what I get to witness on a regular basis 👇🏻

I love what I do - such a privilege to be part of this! 🌱

Enjoy!

Can justice and mercy really coexist?
@sarahcoppin.substack.com (WTC Prison Programme Director) says only if we have a theology of the cross. In a culture that sees justice & mercy as opposites, the cross tells a different story.

The call to visit prisoners is often neglected, but in doing so we also neglect Jesus himself. @sarahcoppin.substack.com speaks to TheoDisc about her heart for prisoners, and how @wtctheology.org.uk is delivering theology to those in prison.

Had great fun chatting with Justin Brierley on his podcast, ‘The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God.’

I think he handles the topic of masculinity and identity really well.

Enjoy

I now have a waiting list of 13 prisons that have reached out because their prisoners are requesting to study theology. There is a growing appetite for the big God-questions inside the prison estate… Is the church ready for this?

Yesterday @wtctheology.org.uk ran a taster class inside The Mount Prison, and we had an amazing time. We were expecting 6-8 men, but 25 showed up! We had some fantastic class contributions, and many said after that they appreciated how our faculty gave them space to ask difficult questions.
