@timep.bsky.social

The re-arrest of Ismail Alexandrani after 7 years in prison isn’t just another headline; it’s the continuation of a cycle of injustice that crushes lives and puts them on hold. In this system, freedom itself becomes a crime that never ends.

Decree 54 has become a tool of political retaliation in Tunisia. The case of Sonia and Ramlah Dahmani is clear proof. Freedom for them and all detainees.
TIMEP joins Tunisian and international partners in urging Tunisian authorities to drop the retaliatory case against Ramlah Dahmani, whose sister Sonia wrongly remains in prison.

The govt must release Sonia and end the abuse of Decree 54 to silence critics.

Today is Marwa Arafa’s first trial after 5 years in detention, including 14 days of enforced disappearance away from her baby. Marwa is a mother, a friend, a kind soul. She deserves freedom, not prison. #FreeMarwa

On #InternationalDayOfFamilies, remember the families torn apart by repression in #Egypt.
#AnasElBeltagy’s family has been deprived of him for 10+ years.
The Seif family Laila, Mona, Sanaa and Khaled remain separated from #Alaa.
Freedom for all unjustly detained.

13 years since the Mohamed Mahmoud events, where streets turned into a bloody battlefield. Security forces targeted protesters’ eyes with rubber bullets and suffocated them with tear gas. isn’t just a memory—it’s a symbol of sacrifice and a reminder of the price paid for freedom.
