All the time. It aids my ability to process.
How many of y'all can admit you talk to yourself? 👀🤔

My Japanese has gotten rusty over the years, but one of my greatest personal accomplishments is that I can enjoy anime (and media in general) without subtitles. Same case with Spanish. 😊 I do want to study more, though.

I'm always full of things to do. No boredom in this mind of mine ♡

There's only one you, so you might as well live this life wholeheartedly. Don't hold back.

All these years later, and Naruto and Sasuke's love for each other continues to move me.

The conditions under which many people in Haiti, Jamaica, and other conflict-heavy regions in the world break my heart. A plentiful world enjoyed by the few. A travesty.

As long as we have a system based on resource accumulation, leveraging capital, and endless growth, we can't seriously help the climate. The very systems that hurt us hurt the climate because we aren't separate from nature, much as people like to pretend that we are.

Tyranny requires constant effort because it is unnatural. I think of this often when it comes to the United States and other imperialist projects. Freedom and cooperation is the natural state of being, and freedom shall ring.

This opening image is actually fire 🔥 It has been a while since I've written narrative prose, and I correctly estimated how much I would be able to write in this first session.

Finally setting to write the lesbian fantasy novel that has been on my mind for the past 2+ years. I have also elected to do so while in an accelerated BSN program because apparently, I like challenging myself in every way 😅

I planned to use both the 7-point story structure and Save the Cat as

I love being Jamaican and Haitian. I couldn't have asked for a better blend of cultures and languages. Patois sounds like comfort and home, and Kreyòl is a beautiful language that I'm glad I committed myself to learn as an adult.

"The differences between the emerging English working class and the African-Jamaicans are as revealing as are parallels. In the Caribbean the basic conflict was between white-owner black-labor; in Britain of the 1800-1830's, white-master white-labor. The determining factor is economic, not racial:"

The way I got my sister and a friend into threading their brows instead of waxing makes me happy haha

It's more precise and produces substantially less waste than waxing 😊

Was it a date? It felt like a date.

Though it was to celebrate my achievement.

I fussed over my clothes, settled on a dress.

You noticed, I flushed.

Our roles felt reversed. I loved your slacks, sweater, and shiny black shoes.

Your beautiful hair, tinted red lips, eyes lined with kohl.

I'm on a mission to reset my attention span through monotasking, and I'm determined to see this through. It's been fascinating a few days in, and I feel more intentional with my decisions and how I spend my time. ♡

Multiple coworkers have called me a "human encyclopedia" at this point.

I have yet to inform them that I read encyclopedias and dictionaries for fun. 😂 I have always loved learning.

I love wearing a face mask to work because I don't have to force myself to smile when I don't feel like it (very exhausting). And the patients can't complain because they don't see my expression.

Bliss.

These little girls that offered me lemonade on my recent run 😊 Was unexpected and kind.
Last question - What made you smile recently?

This is the end of today's episode of QuestionSky. As always, I love you all and I'll see you in the next thread, cousins 🥰
