After the quake in Bangkok, she carried pottery pieces through broken streets.
No helmet. No shoes. Just hands full of clay.

No headlines covered it.
But someone in Vancouver sent gloves.
That’s how it starts sometimes.

We’re tracking stories like that.

You don’t need to be an expert—just curious.
You don’t need to speak the same language—just feel something real.

If you’ve ever wanted to create, connect, and live a little differently…
Join us in Bangkok and be part of something handmade.

How can art help us connect heart to heart—across borders, oceans, and time zones?

Can a song bridge cultures?
Can a painting speak without words?
Can a handmade bowl carry the soul of its maker?

I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments 💬❤️

We don’t fund the arts to make art.
We fund the arts so people don’t forget how to feel.
So they remember how to listen.
So they learn to build, not just survive.
No civilization ever thrived without it.

AI can sort files.
It can guess moods.
But it will never wake up barefoot,
step outside,
breathe deep,
and smell summer in the trees.

We don’t just teach art.
We teach how to stay human.
Bangkok to BC.

They told us to find a purpose.
We found a passport, a sketchbook, and a kiln.
We’re not tourists.
We’re builders—of memory, rhythm, and what comes next.

Not your average class.
No degrees, no gatekeeping.
Just color, clay, chaos, & calm.
DM if you’re wandering through BKK and want to make something real.

Imagine a school with no desks.
Just clay, movement, maps, and music.
Now imagine it exists.
Now imagine you’re invited.

Today’s transmission:
– Rain in both cities
– Soft music from the studio
– One student who finally believed they could shape something worth sharing

Muay Thai taught us to breathe before striking.
Ceramics taught us to wait before firing.
Neither of those lessons came from textbooks.

We never met in the same room.
But you shaped clay with your hands, and I drank from it across the ocean.

That counts for something.

Somewhere in Chiang Mai, a student carves mountains into a cup.
In Powell River, a mug cracks in the kiln and still gets used.

Art moves. Even when we don’t.

Some people travel to escape.
Others travel to paint the world they want to come home to.
We follow those with clay-stained hands and overstuffed sketchbooks.
