Shove the Presidency Down Trump’s Throat
👀
If the minimum wage had kept up to the increases that the Congress kept giving its members there would be no crisis today. Change my mind! All for me but none for thee. Poverty is profitable.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

If Republicans want to talk about long-term fixes to ACA affordability, Democrats are ready.
But in the meantime, doing nothing is derelict. People will go bankrupt, people will lose insurance, and people will get sicker.
Republicans cannot continue doing nothing.

America is in the midst of a Republican-made health care crisis—a crisis so severe, so urgent, and so devastating for American families that I cannot support a continuing resolution that fails to address it.

Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis
For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare
We will keep fighting

I will not support the Republican bill that’s on the Senate floor because it fails to do anything of substance to fix America’s healthcare crisis.

Ok, y’all.
I’m quoting my post because I know Schumer voted no.
Why then am I admonishing him?
Because he’s the leader of the Senate Dems and couldn’t keep his people on point.
That is the leader’s job!
Never happened in The House when Pelosi was leader.
RESIGN!

Dear Chuck,
Fuck all the way off and thanks for being the weak man that Trump knew you’d be.
You are officially MAGA in my eyes.
Way to DO SOMETHING!
Please resign today.

The party was riding high on election wins, a fractured GOP, and a flailing Trump. And then the Senate Surrender Caucus handed Republicans a win.
