It's abhorrent that the government made a back-to-work order. I doubt ANY of them ever work without being compensated for their time. Why isn't that a basic standard for everyone? #cdnpoli #aircanadastrike

There will never be a strike where my support goes to the employer. The imbalance in power will always lead to max extraction from the workforce and striking is the only way to force change. #cdnpoli #aircanadastrike

Another reason the epidemic of violence against women is so pervasive is the inherent age-old belief that somehow men are entitled to our bodies. The attitude can best be demonstrated in how the President of the United States referred to his victims as property that was “stolen” from him.

I curse whoever designed front loading washing machines. The front rubber seal is actually impossible to fully clean and collects all kinds of goop in unreachable nooks.

Staying at the Hakujukan was one of the best experiences from my recent trip to Japan. From the Buddhist Shojin cuisine to the 4am morning service at Eiheiji temple, it was pure bliss.
