Visited the Mayan ruins of Ek Balam. The Maya ballgame stadium no longer had any rings. The mausoleum near the top reflects the king being swallowed by a toothed monster.

Justice Jackson just halted the order requiring SNAP payments by midnight to allow the administration 48 hours for their appeal. If you got money and can buy what you need tonight I assume it’s easier to take unspent money back compared with trying to get people to pay back spent funds.

Ominous clouds over Cancun coast drove outside events indoors last night.
When we got off the elevator on the 7th after midnight we were surprised to see two raccoons trotting down the hallway towards us. Clearly they forage through room service leftovers. We put out some papaya.
