I'm about a third of the way through Interior Chinatown and it's so good so far. It's funny, quick and compelling. The formatting was a bit hard to get used to but once I did its been so hard to put down. #CharlesYu #InteriorChinatown #Booksky

I had to sit with Betty a while after finishing it. It's 5/5 ⭐, but rating it almost feels wrong, to me it's something so much more than a piece to be observed, or judged. It opened my heart, it broke my heart, it delighted me, it disturbed me. 1/3 #Betty #TiffanyMcDaniel #Booksy

#ThePoppyWar trilogy gets a 4.5/5 Stars for me. A great story in retrospect, but dragging through the pages was a chore at times. Overall great plot and writing, I really liked the magic system, but I think it's a common criticism of #RFKuang that the characters were the weakest element.

After MANY breaks and other books between parts I'm FINALLY done with this SO.. Its good, I hate Rin. I like the story tho. It was beautifully written, first of all. However, without giving away specifics, when EVERY choice by EVERY character is morally gray the world becomes colorless and the stakes no longer matter imo.

Sometimes being sick but not like too sick is kinda great. Feels like i can skip school and eat crackers all day. Very nostalgic. 6/10 wich is a great rating considering my body is fighting illness.
