5 Captain America graphic novels reviewed today and we like Home of the Brave by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee best. "Waid and Samnee’s classic storytelling returns Captain America to his roots as a super soldier enlisted in the fight against fascism".

Silver: Unearthed "establishes a gruesome situation exceptionally well, not least by the addition of a vampire to a SF action thriller". Mad plot from Michael Carroll and exceptional art from Joe Currie.

We really like @billholbrook.bsky.social and H.H. Glynn's The Phantom of the Swim Team. It's a funny young adult graphic novel looking at the school days of Dethany Dendrobia from #onthefastrack. "extremely rewarding and should be a top choice".

Ryan Ferrier and Valentin Roman supplied three very funny volumes of D4VE, a world where robots have replaced humans. Great imagination and fantastic designs. @idwpublishing.com are releasing the first book in their classic line next year.

Daisuke Igarashi very deliberately builds Children of the Sea slowly, establishing a tranquil mystery looking at life and what we don't yet know about it. Over 5 volumes it asks questions you won't find in any other graphic novel.
