I was looking on Amazon for books on Indian Mythology for 6-8-year-olds to gift a niece and I found at least 2 pages worth of AI slop 😟 I am on the lookout for recommendations for the same. #kidlitart #kidlit Please help and suggest books for kids on Indian and/or Mexican mythology 💛 Appreciate it!

Trying to make a daily #sketchbook practice happen. So far, week 1 accomplished! I was also trying something different with a fountain pen for direct drawing (except the cheese platter where I pencil sketched it first) followed up with color pencils.

A belated post for #Halloween. I enjoyed making this one! Who else loves #illustratedletters #kidlitart

For Halloween - the 'H' is drawn as a spider with its arms raised, 'A' as a ghost, 'L' as an arm coming out of the ground, 'L' and 'O' drawn connected as a worm coming out of a pumpkin, 'W' as a snake with a head at both ends, 'E' as a 3 fingered hand, 'E' as itself with a scared expression and 'N' is formed by bones.

Some things I did this week:
- #Painted little pumpkins with poster paints 🖌️
- Decorated my front entrance with lamps for Diwali 🪔
- Made a simple but delicious South Indian home cooked meal 🍚
- And took my cat to the vet 🐱
The last one wasn’t fun but everything else made the week a nice one.
