Desperately trying to get all the things I should have done earlier completed before my daughter arrives tomorrow. Unfortunately, there’s been an unauthorised early present reveal- I know it wasn’t me so only leaves one suspect. So far it’s a ‘no comment’ interview.

My favourite of the Christmas trees. This one has lots of decs collected over the years together with some my daughter made whilst growing up. The cherished tree topper star she made way back when she was in reception class.

Whilst there’s still food & gift shopping to do, I’m distracted by converting an old cracked fish tank into a fruiting chamber. As there are no side holes, apart from the cracks, I’ll have to open the main vent regularly. Fingers crossed it works.🌱

Morning all. It’s a very dark wet day here today, so gardening plans are currently suspended. Just got another notification from the new bird box- image in night vision as it’s so dark today. I’m getting evermore hopeful…

Just started off my fruit block of Golden Enoki mushrooms. Never tried this variety so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 The bag will be removed tomorrow once the water has been absorbed, then it’s waiting to see the magic. 🌱

A beautiful fern in the orchard. Looks splendid & is providing shelter for moths, ladybirds etc 🌱
