I played a sold out show tonight in the house that Bruce built. This year was triumphant and tragic, and tommorow we drive back to the Midwest, and I’ll listen to the zombies in my head and it’ll all make sense. Grateful for the journey, the adventure, and the stories that make up the chapters. PMA.

Liz took a dose of chemo on Friday, and hasn’t laid down yet. I’m hoping her body is reacting better but I’m still waiting for the bed to be 1000 degrees and also negative 1000 degrees. I’m tired. And worn down. I have been the king of posi and gratitude, but this week, I feel like the grinch.

A whole lot to be grateful for these days. A whole lot. Packages from around the country from friends and strangers helping fill the tree for the little one, and supplies to make Liz feel comfortable as this chemo keeps coming on. I’m stoked that we all live in this universe together, and grateful

In the year of 2024, I can lay in bed next to my partner giving them their chemotherapy and immunotherapy shot and this is weird, but amazing to be able to have them home safe while we do it and not have to travel. Big ups modern medicine

Liz told me I was cranky and that I needed to take a bubble bath and I haven’t done that in 30 years… so i did. 10/10 relaxing, will do again. 0/10 for the lack of knowledge on how to get the bubbles off post bath.If I had instructions, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t read instructions.

Grabbed a boatload of Chinese food for me and Liz tonight and awaiting the snowfall here. Been watching the little one sleep since I got here after work, and let me tell you, watching the kid sleep in an ER is the best and worst thing ever.
