After nearly 35 years, the two highlights of my career are: (1) a request from a non-actuary coworker to help him put some actuarial concepts into “lame man’s” terms, and (2) an email I received with a typo in the word “typo.”

Just to be clear, I’m experimenting with AI because I’m 95% sure that it will become part of my job in the next few years, and I want to get a handle on what it can/cannot do. If I ever need any actual creative work done, I will do it myself, unaided by AI, or I will hire a human.

@danielprice.bsky.social I had ChatGPT cast the movie. I only made corrections for age appropriateness (e.g., Ryan Reynolds was its first pick for Zach). I don’t know who some of these people are, but I Googled them and based purely on looks it’s….not bad?
