Is it just me or is iOS26 a step back to the 90s? Everything seems to be harder to do and the ‘glass’ look is tacky and dated 📱

London Sinfonietta & Marius Neset this Thursday - absolutely knockout. Neset's piece 'Changes' was one of the best things I have experienced this year. The London Sinfonietta played their socks off! www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whats-on/lon...

Fantastic concert at @woolwichworks.bsky.social celebrating 60 years of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra NYJO with Olivia Cuttill's arrangements of Fodder on My Wings by Nina Simone. Culminating in a joyous performance of Colour is a Beautiful Thing 👏

Amazing visit to Dawkes Music yesterday. An opportunity to play test some amazing tenor saxes including a Selmer Mark VI with the expert help of Sam Gregory. The workshop is truly impressive, there's even a performance space with a bar. Saxophone heaven 🎷 (I believe they also have other things 😉 )

Such a pleasure to be at the 25th RNCM Saxophone Day on Sunday. Huge congratulations to Andy Scott, staff and students for such an amazing day. It brings joy to my heart to see the saxophone community that continues to flourish around RNCM nourished by events like this! @rncmlive.bsky.social

Kicked off the day with an arrangement of The Logical Song with over 200 saxophones and John Helliwell who recorded the original sax solo (in a toilet), and it wasn’t even lunchtime! So much more to come! #RNCMSaxophoneDay - @rncmlive.bsky.social Royal Northern College of Music

Delighted to be playing with Secret Life Quartet in Leytonstone this weekend, after a pesky rainstorm scuppered our slot during the Leytonstone Festival. Busking outside Stone Mini Market on Saturday on the High Road E11 4RD between 2-4pm. Come and say hi 👋 🎷🎶

I’ve been feeling very down about world events. This made me feel a bit better, someone with the capacity to break through the media noise and remind us that you can still do something, no matter how desperate it might seem m.youtube.com/watch?v=vHH-...

A sad day, the final ‘spinal column’, but what a splendid end. Melanie Reid kept me going through some of my own dark times. I’ll miss her, but hope this next chapter in her life is as full of fun, triumph and grace, even if we don’t get to hear about it anymore. www.thetimes.com/article/1a37...
This is my last Spinal Column. Writing it helped me survive
Melanie Reid wrote her first Spinal Column in 2010, just days after breaking her neck and back in a riding accident. She thought she might have enough material for a month. Almost 15 years and many aw...
