As the campaign manager for the Vermont Reproductive Liberty Amendment, I can tell you what they're afraid of.

The Reproductive Liberty Amendment was +20 in towns where Trump was +10.

This is an attempt to deny voters their voice and weaken democratic turnout.
Mark your calendars: The GOP has called an election on August 8, in what's sure to be a low-turnout election, to ask Ohioans to change their constitution & make it harder to pass future referendums.

The aim? To thwart a looming abortion initiative.

The Gov was right when he said this. He can deliver by signing H.217 and making VT not just "a leader" but THE leader in child care.

Tell Gov. Scott to sign the bill (it takes one minute):

Burlington voters, myself included, overwhelmingly supported all resident voting.

Two Vermont towns have already implemented this measure and it was commonplace in the early 1900s.

I hope the legislature acts to override this veto and enact the will of the voters.
Burlington, Vermont, passed an ordinance allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections. Such measures need state approval, and the legislature passed it, but Governor Scott just vetoed. Maybe override?
