Hello Bluesky! I'm excited to be here. By way of introduction, I'm sharing posts from the other social network below. If you want to get to know me better, read on.

And I hope you enjoy!
Basically every time I get back to NYC from a trip, I see that skyline and think, I’m so glad I live in this city. I’m grateful for this city. I love this city.

Even more so today catching the tail end of the most inspiring sporting event of the year.

Happy marathon Sunday.

The pang I feel when someone says they like "stablecoin"
October 28, 2025 at 2:32 PM
What's the soundtrack to your work? Why?
September 10, 2025 at 1:13 PM
Also, yes, Google, stablecoins do share characteristics with banknotes, but that takes kinda played out now. I think we've moved on to comparing stables to $1 bearer notes from narrow banks?

Bummer that Google's stablecoin take is "better payments through evolution, not revolution"

Stablecoins have gravity. They're better money with unique characteristics (atomic settlement, programmability, composability) that make new scenarios possible.

Evolution to onboard, revolution to win.

The thing about a 30% yield is that it doesn’t make any fucking sense.

I just learned the same Evan Wallace created esbuild and Figma.

I mean??

Perhaps unparalleled contributions to and demonstration of web performance.

Is anyone building an "AI gardener" for Obsidian workspaces yet?

- Sort _inbox notes into the right directory
- Autotag & link based on context
- Surface or fix incomplete notes
- Better search

It'd save me a 60 to 90 seconds a week if google drive could give me a shareable link to uploaded media before the content finished uploading.

Google probably doesn't want to solve this given the UX & systems problems, but like... it'd be better

Excited to speak at @proofoftalk in Paris next week! We'll discuss why stablecoins are the best way for fintechs to build new products & the hurdles remaining for adoption

I'll be joined by @diogomonica @reeve_collins & Christian Rau in a conversation moderated by @Timccopeland

Last month we had one of the most exciting months in fintech history: the month fintechs embraced stablecoins

What happens next?

Tomorrow I'll share my thoughts on investing in stablecoins at @thestablecon with @HadickM @nic__carter @matt_homer & @ShenLucinda

Tune in!

One of my most persistent gripes with google maps is it doesn't know what a bodega is. When is this getting fixed?!

Gdocs - by having the "refine" button move from the right button tray to the highlighted text and allowing a delayed UI change, you're making me click the emoji button instead of the comment button.

It's very annoying!

The past month has been among the most important in payment history: the month fintechs embraced stablecoins.

Legacy payment companies are bootstrapping an onchain economy

I break down the important recent announcements and share my thoughts on what they mean for the industry.

Anyway, we’re going to hang after the rush, but I love the feeling of being proud of a friend from afar. I’m glad I got to see the success up close.

Go visit Paper Son Coffee on 2nd and Folsom. Say what’s up to Alex.

So, I’m in SF at a new hotel, start the walk to work and low and behold there’s the shop. I walk up and he’s in there, prepping for open!

I knock, we chat, I’m running late, and we plan for me to come back the next day.

Today, I show up and here’s the line, 40 people out the door!!

I have a friend I haven’t seen in years, but remember fondly.

A couple years ago I saw a post saying he was quitting tech and going to start a coffee shop, Paper Son Coffee…

Can someone do weekly LLM reviews like they're wine reviews or at a dog show. Scored with no denominator so scores can go up as models improve.

Please don't make me build this and turn it into an e-ink display. I don't need that in my life right now.

What's important is making sure that users can access treasury yield onchain.

I want more safe yield onchain! There should be a competitive market. Yield bearing stables, directly issued onchain treasuries (pls!), yield passed through via providers -- all can compete for PMF
April 4, 2025 at 6:34 PM
To spell this out:

1. transactions likely happen with non-yield bearing stables
2. users are mostly indifferent to yield on fiat-reserve stables *via a provider* or *via a wrapped yb asset*
3. Strategy Backed Synthetic Dollars (SBSDs) are useful, but they're investment products
April 4, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Yield-bearing stables are good, but aren't needed *as long as users can access safe yield*

Users will always prefer to spend fiat-backed stables & save yield-bearing stables. If you're saving stables, you're likely comfortable saving somewhere like Coinbase or in a lending pool

One way to look at stablecoins is that we're 10 years in (Circle & Tether founded in 2013/14), another is that we're only 1 year in to widely available, high quality onchain activity.

Goal: <1 second, <1 cent, and a wallet in every pocket
