The vanilla kit is the most beginner friendly thing you can create; Splat Bomb is a simple sub you can throw for paint, kills, combos etc. While Bubbler can protect you from incoming attacks and you can SJ to it if you wanna join back after dying if the Bubble is still up

They buffed its ink efficiency and its spread, but when is a beginner going to notice that? They are just going to play the weapon for the easy stages of online play. You also have to consider that while Jr. isn’t awful competitive wise; nobody really even uses the thing at all.

I think Jr. is a fine weapon on its own, its greatest strength is that it’s a very easy pickup weapon. I don’t really like how Nintendo tried to make it competitive to an extent like you’ll only really have it the first 10 levels of the game and then you’re done.
