Watching Doctor Who in French from the 2005 reboot beginning has made me rethink the entire timeline. I’d forgotten 9 was fresh off the destruction of Gallifrey. It now makes more sense why the first trip he took Rose on was to see the destruction of Earth.

I think I imprinted so hard on the kookie parent in 90s sitcoms that I subconsciously made sure I became one in the 20s. My kids’ therapists will thank me, I’m sure.
