These « ballet gulls » on the beach of La Baule, France, fit quite nicely the #BirdoftheDay theme of #OddAngles! So does that black swan, quite a contorsionist, seen at Albert Lake in Melbourne. Probably he doesn't find it odd at all!

The bridge over the Loire Estuary near Saint-Nazaire is France's longest bridge (3.3 km). Its centre span rises 61 m over the water to allow maritime traffic. The bridge was inaugurated exctly 50 years ago.
