Goal: Lose weight -> uncertain which diet/routine to use-> collect data weigh yourself, get activity tracker -> feel bad about weight -> data says need to eat less and move more-> seems simple enough so I start however I can. There is no reason to optimize in the beginning, focus all energy on the income generating service or product and marketing. Improve the product and tell people. Do this until sales decline which is unlikely if you continue to improve the core product.

A simple solution today is better than a perfect one tomorrow. Example: note pad and pen that you carry with you with your task list, instead of an all inclusive task software with different lists and endless amount of tasks. The more complex it gets, the larger the barrier to use it daily.
