Have a bio. It's not hard.

Sadly necessary: no DMs, no crypto, etc.
I am thankful for a beautiful sunrise as we prepared to leave the BVIs.

Getting to the airport early, and finding we could go to San Juan on an earlier flight. There was no one in customs and immigration line. Beat the mega rush through security.

Safe travels home: planes, trains, and automobile.

I am thankful that there was essentially no wind this morning. Made it easier to end our trip.

For a fantastic sailing vacation.

Bumping into a friend at dinner who is going in the second week trip. Has some good Q&A. Enjoy!!

Last full day on the water.

I am thankful for a good trip today. Had to go through a narrow cut, and thn ea relatively narrow channel. So we did motor today.

Having clear water to snorkel in. Lots of varied fish, sea urchins, and sea anemones.

Learning a new card game on our last night on the water.

I am thankful for another glorious sail. Long broad reach from Anegada to Jost van Dyzke. Nice winds and weather.

Fun get together of all the boat crews at the Soggy Dollar.

Lots of conversations this evening after dinner. The cockpit is a perfect place for fresh air and chatting.

Sailing to Anegada, and a visitor.

I am thankful for a fabulous run to Anegada. Nice close reach all the way. Maxing at about 8 knots. Awesome.

Helm and crew nailing the mooring ball first try. (I was helm. Learning and practice.)

A nice dinner at the Wonky Dog, with a surprise birthday song for J my wife. 💖

Anyone know more about the El Paso airspace closure??

I am thankful for a great pair of dives today. Saw lots of cool critters.

A peaceful afternoon minding the boat while everyone else was off to town.

A nice hot shower at BEYC.
Best part of visiting, and grabbing a mooring ball.

I am thankful that we realized our dingy engine was down before we started sailing.

An amazing day sailing. Good winds. Main was reefed. Sailing through 8’ rollers. Saw a dolphin several times

Getting together with the folks on the other boats in out flotilla for beverages and sharing stories.

I am thankful for a great day of sailing. Full sail, cruising along at 8 knots. Perfect.

Picking up the mooring ball for the first time from a monohull. Always learning.

The peace of being on the water at “anchor”. Just feeling the wind, and listening to the water lapping at the hull.
