New 2026 ballot question just dropped:

Utahns will decide whether or not to repeal the state's ban on collective bargaining for public sector unions during the 2026 midterm elections.

Three people are dead, including an 8-month-old infant, after a juvenile gunman opened fire during the final night of WestFest in West Valley City.

The incident comes one day after a man was killed during the "No Kings" protest in Salt Lake City.

An innocent bystander was fatally shot during the "No Kings" protest in Salt Lake City last night.

One person, who did not strike the bystander, has been booked into jail and charged with murder.

I’m back for the second “No Kings” protest at Pioneer Park. Massive crowd. Can’t see the speakers. Can’t see to the other side of the park.

The crowd will start marching toward the federal building in an hour.

3 to 5,000 people showed up to the peaceful “No Kings” protest this morning in SLC.

Another demonstration is taking place tonight at 6pm and is expected to be much bigger.

Utahns are protesting Trump era policies and decisions. Many protests are happening across the nation.

Organizations all over the country that throw Pride festivities are likely feeling the pitch of corporate sponsorships pulling out. The Utah Pride Center is one of them.

Since PornHub blocked Utah two years ago, 20 other states passed a similar law that spurred the adult content site's decision.

Utah has been accused of violating a court ordered injunction by enforcing a ban on trans girls competing in school sports.

The state argued they were just following an executive order issued by the Trump admin.

Since it isn't a traditional session, there are different rules the Legislature must abide by. And a special session got easier to call when voters approved a constitutional change in 2018.

ICYMI: changes to Utah’s vote by mail system are on the way if the Gov. signs the bill.

It was an effort to make elections more secure but the worry is the exact opposite will happen.

Transgender students at Utah’s state colleges and universities may soon need to follow new restrictions on their campus housing.
