Someone purchased an adoptable from my ko-fi shop, which is actually the first time anyone has bought anything from it in the 4-ish years I've had it, and my art/commission specific paypal account flipped the heck out lol

They're actually really good!
I made the same filling as I usually do, but this time, instead of using tinned biscuits for the crust, I made hot water crust pastry from scratch. Lotta work!

I saw someone mention an Arabian stallion named Mesaoud, and when I saw the four high white socks on him, I wondered if he was in Khartoon Khlassic's pedigree and yep, he's back in there a few times.

Don't fly in the US right now if it's not absolutely necessary. FAA instructed employees to not perform any maintenance on equipment unless it's broken.

Just noticed that our local animal shelter seems to have stopped guessing at dogs' breeds and just labels them all as mixed. Most of them are blocky headed bully types and huskies, of course. I miss seeing more of a variety of shelter dogs.

We don't set up an ofrenda, but since my marigolds have been blooming very nicely, I cut a few and put one next to each remembrance card we have on the fridge and put one on the kinda-sorta informal Winry shrine 🧡

This was probably my favorite Halloween costume I wore for work, back in 2018.
Though one year, I made goat leg pants with faux fur material and cushion foam. Coworkers thought it was cool but going to the bathroom was a pain lol. I don't have any pics of that unfortunately.
