Passing cars sounded their horns. Drivers and passengers alike waved and called out in support.

Each move echoed the demonstrator's message: Americans want Trump's #HandsOff their social services!

Future demonstrations at Mill Plain and Chaklov are planned every Monday at 4pm.

According to officers on-scene, the arrested person had threatened police with a knife. The person was tased.

After medical evaluation by AMR, the person is now in police custody.
