NHTSA data show 29% of crash fatalities in 2023 were speeding related. Requiring Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) tech for convicted “super speeders” is a way to address this behavior. We contributed to a white paper out today from @familiesforsafestreets.org

PA: Safety kudos to Philadelphia for adding 15 speed safety cameras on Broad St. A Carnegie Mellon study of speed safety cameras on Roosevelt Blvd. found a 90% reduction in speeding & ~ 50% decrease in crashes & injuries compared to the other studied Philly roads.
