Results show that resource limitations are much lower in the same area in spring compared to summer. However, depletion rates varied a lot depending on the particular day and time of day.

Floral resource limitation is a complicated phenomenon influenced by many factors.

A #SafeguardResearch from 2024 compares nectar limitation in spring in an area where a previous study showed severe resource limitations in summer.
