So back from a lovely long visit. 🦋Got whatever sickness my niece had and am slowly recovering. 🤧Mom lent me her Labubu to make it (and my nieces' lbbs) a wardrobe. Kind of obsessed. Might make an insta of the journey. 💚

Would be nice to skip to the depose part. Guess we have to keep doing paperwork. Making calls to legislators to push all articles of impeachment, convict, and follow through with deposing.

Peaceful afternoon rolling out crusts for quiches and watching bunnies eating clover. ☘️ It was interesting seeing fireflies flashing and the lavender light up with some response flashes. 🔆

Was good to be out this weekend. Solidarity and joy on Saturday. Had a nice day with FiL Sunday. While driving back on the beltway around 7pm, we saw some tanks and military vehicles leaving DC. Felt bad for the traffic going in that direction. As it was jammed up quite a bit.

Think we might have to dig up the front garden and lawn I've been working so much on; to fix a drain pipe. 💸 This house eats so much. Hubby says we may have to eat more lentil curries (cheap, tasty, and filling) in the future. Might not survive the next round of gov't reduction in force.

Agreed. When you read aloud, especially to kids, you gotta do the voices. I remember my nephews saying being read to was boring. Yet l8r when I was reading to their lil sister with voices and engaging her observation skills, they were the ones piping up over our shoulders and excited about the tale.

Found a snake skin on the front lawn. Decent size. Hope we never run across each other. 🐍Carpenter bee was not happy with me mowing near the planter it decided was home. 🐝 Clover is super lush right now. ☘️
