A country founded on violence, built on violence, upheld with violence, has no place for violence? If anything we’re just living in violence’s home and paying exorbitant rent prices
We are horrified to learn of the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Political violence has no place in democracy. The foundation of democracy rests on the principle that differences can be debated vigorously, but peacefully, without intimidation or acts of violence.

I hope you know you don't owe nobody nothing I hope you know just how much I believe in you How your friends light up when you walk in the room And the joy and the love to see you live your truth

A foreword to this whole series of random posting on here is that I believe in nuance above all else, it’s not that all belief is right, but maybe that all belief is valid in that it comes from somewhere that can either be dismantled or built upon. Nuance and thought are the clay and brick of idea

The final wrap up of that is, religion is bad, religion oppressed and still does, in the most insidious of its ways. Spirituality is real and is as human as anything else, music, love, sex, sadness, pain, everything else. Don’t be tied down to a belief system that tried to make sense of those things

The point being unlearn abrahamic religion. Or at least the ideals written in books by men. god can be real, I dislike atheist almost as much as religious folk, like I dislike reps and dems in a sense. I debate myself ether maybe all gods are real and the energy put into them is what powers them.

My stream of consciousness for the night is the hoping for disconnect between Indigenous communities and Christianity. I was thinking about the parallels of Ireland and Mexico, both places with strong ties to their ancestral beliefs, both adopting and adapting Catholicism to in a way protect it

Wish Michigan would understand its history and know where it stands. Unfortunately economic downturn hits so hard here and pushes people away and dems just don’t do enough to recognize what the people here are. Push our pro-union, pro immigrant, pro civil rights connections.

Trying to regather the plot again I would say just look into real conspiracy look into Contra, look into COINTELPRO, look into Banana Republics, look into the countless coupes that the CIA has led, look at who our government targets and then just think, should I support these people?

Something else I’ve been thinking about a lot is just kind of the nature of everything, how abrahamic religion has really shaped how the whole world perceives our existence and experience, and how it has this inherent retaliation to anything that challenges that, which is really the sun of it all.

There’s a certain cognitive dissonance that comes from it, that might be a separate but related issue I’ve never understood about the right, you believe that there’s an insidious elite, and I think we all know or believe that, but then you don’t believe say, Black or Indigenous people when they say

I kind of lost the plot of this all but I think a big takeaway is understanding where the conspiracies you believe in come from and I guess recognizing the structures of power that have been upholding them, because you could easily say “well this all the conspiracy of the Jew commies” or whatever

I wish MAGA/Alt-right and anybody else down that pipeline would realize that all those conspiracies ARE the brainwashing. Conspiracy theories have been a form of control for centuries and have been purposefully spread by those in power.

Keep almost posting politics on here or being involved in political online discourse but then it all just feels like ego and posturing and screaming into a void. I really don’t think it’s productive or constructive. Especially when you’re not actually involved in anything real like mutual aid etc
