@patriciatraina.bsky.social --Great podcast to wrap up the season. You make a great point re Schoen giving Daboll latitude the past 3 seasons, but that more accountability is preferable. I wish that was the case last year when NYG hired Bowen, when most of the D was a poor fit for his scheme.

@patriciatraina.bsky.social-Mailbag Question. I'd like to see Daboll return as HC, but a major drawback is whether he can recruit a talented DC and/or OC given his tenuous hold on his job. Further, the Shane Bowen experience is a strong indication that any coach needs to fit the talent assembled.

I've read a few comments from some recent converts from X that someone needs a minimum of 5K followers on Bluesky. I disagree with the POV. This community existed just fine when most people had follow/follow counts of 1 K. In short, follow who you want. I applaud those members who feel similar.

The MAGAts are in for a huge wake-up call. I have not an ounce of empathy to spare for any of them when they start to complain about the economy.

I've read many doom & gloom economic posts re Trump's proposed tax cuts, deportations, & tariffs. These posts are on point. Whether this involves farm products or durable goods imported from China, the analysis is solid. The Smoot Hawley tariffs were one of the main causes of the Great Depression.
