I like making comics because my brain is more relaxed when I do them. I don't obsess over every line or the anatomy. I actually finish them (most of the time)

6 goals for the new year
1. draw backgrounds (you can do it!!)
2. finish the oc animatic (if I drew 1 art for it per day, it'll be done in 3 months. Do it)
3. Learn to color, find a coloring style I actually want
4. Draw a full comic
5. Uhh... Join a zine or an art Collab
6. Make my OCs famous XD

Maple leaves are the motif of the clans that killed his family, so the leaf also represents Shige (as someone connected to them) and Kiku's attitude towards them shifts-

Do you have that moment where you love your OCs so much you just don't know how to put it in words? Where you just feel like you're mentally crushing them to your chest like a squeaky toy because they're your little guy and you know their story and you just love them so much?
