I really took adults saying “I have eyes in the back of my head” literally. I was constantly searching for eyeballs on the back of adults heads and wondered when I’d get mine 😅

No one knows how to talk to anyone anymore outside social media. It has created a lot of loneliness. I remember in HS I went to a sleepover where everyone was on their phones and hardly talked at all, were so disconnected from the real world more than ever.

I am taken now but have sought out men and women on dating apps and can confirm that shit sucks. People who claimed to be wanting something serious only wanted hookups, people ghosted frequently, or the dont be on the app it be “Never here hit me up on snap!”
Social media and dating apps combined? Absolutely horrible. Don’t even get me started on literacy. I encountered a man who was 38 and couldn’t read dating prompts.

One thing that tires me as a Black person is defending my culture just for some vanilla wafer to tell me it isn’t mine it’s theirs or everyone’s. It is reminiscent of having your identity stolen from you and being gaslit that the culture sacred to you was never yours.

I got a burrito from chipotle today. I ate half of it. All I can put down. I’m in a lot of pain. I usually cook but I can’t even shower today, I can’t stand to long and everything hurts. Lights are off except for my moon lamp.

I’m told if I want to find God to seek out the same Bible that made no sense to me to begin with, I get so many different interpretations of who God is that I can’t keep up. If God is real how exactly do you discern who he really is through all the noise and abuse of the very text I am told to seek?
