This White House wing teardown is pretty scathing. Tyrant he may want to be, he's still only a damn tenant.

I'm surprised how much hybrid roles have fully taken over the landscape. Having done remote engineering for a decade or more, it's kind of absurd.

Mainly I need to stop talking to people offering hybrid in hopes to sway them.

The new ICE song by Jesse Welles nails it.

ICE isn’t recruiting heroes, it’s recruiting the bitter, the rejected, the ones desperate for a badge to cover their failures.

Losers with power become the most dangerous kind.

Lately when vibe-planning an application I will state my preference for #elixirlang but suggest Im open to other languages like Python or Type/javascript.

I get a pro/con it a bit and, so far at least, the response has always circled back to Elixir as a great selection.

You're absolutely right!

Bedtime reading 'Little House in the Big Woods' (total classic, 4/4 stars) and had to explain what The Bible is, meanwhile, despite not watching wrestling, child knows Dwayne The Rock Johnson from videogames. #modernlife #heathenlife

I've been meaning to do something with PubSub for ages. Asked claude, and bam, its done. It's way simpler than I thought. Thanks, vibe coding.

Trying to enjoy the new game of coaching Agentic AI tools through a problem, but if they can't write code without trailing whitespaces... well it better write me a post-commit hook too. #claudecode #cleancode #git

Had to sit on the couch for a few days, learning Lua so I can make some playdate games.

Tonight we completed reading all 12 of Arthur Ransome's 'Swallows and Amazons' books and I kind of feel I'll never have such a great series to do at bedtime like it again.

Wow, Facebook marketplace used to be a quick easy way to sell on stuff. Now, unless you pay, you get nothing.

[Scene on TV with hundreds of whales flying in the sky.]

Child: are there that many whales in the world.

Me [doing a quick general count] I hope there's more than that.

(I'm not sure).

Just got a YT ad for coffins. Does anyone know the algorithm well enough to decode how long it thinks I have until death? I presume they think it's soon. #nDays

Pretty cute of Android to force my phone to update, causing it to heat up and rip through the charge like a bender and then to be told now I need to replace my battery.

If I replace the battery that's enabling bad behavior.

Feels like class action time.

It's fully because I watched A Muppet Christmas Carol last week, but imagine if Donald watches the coverage for Carter and decides to turn over a new leaf...

Even typing that was hard to do.
