I wish it were possible to simply vanish. Not die, but just peacefully wink out of existence. I've no desire to experience whatever lies ahead in however many years I have left. There must be others who feel this way, right? Not wanting to live, but not wanting to die?

A little over 20 years ago, I graduated college, surrounded by the best friends I ever made, and my family was there, loving and proud. And I loved everyone right back. I wish I'd quietly died on the car ride home. That was the time to go.
