Running out of time with legion remix. I think I need just one tmog set left and then the rest are the expensive 40-100k bronze mounts/toys. Should have been focusing more on the mounts but eh I think I’d use the tmog sets more

Hopefully I get the package box for mailbox area asap. Trying to make it so these drivers don’t come down drive way at all. We’ll see about whole foods delivery though.

only really annoying issue besides the occasional bubbling from aio is i'm getting red devil 9070 xt coil whine but only when i'm gaming or have ai models running. so i need to figure that out. sounds like i can down volt it maybe. not sure. i'll have to play around with lact a bit.

amd 9800x3d currently idling around 31-33c and red devil 9070 xt idling around 27-30c. definitely curious to see what the other 2 fans will do when i finally get the hub running.

i can barely hear the pc fans now right next to me. i hope aio stays this quiet. the bubbling/crackling ice like sound is kind of infuriating with the arctic lf iii pro 360.

at this point i'd be down to the slightly bigger jimny and turn that into a car camper. another one i doubt we'll ever see in the us unfortunately.

might start a github project to document my cachyos shenanigans. at least for my amd platform hardware. so far i have most things set up properly... for now

got my 9800x3d idling around 33c and 9070 xt at around 27c now. not bad. still waiting on the missing sata-psu cable /sigh. then a second 180mm and a 140mm will be running. could have them connected to motherboard right now, but eh it's been fine without them.

tbh i prefer using gemini over google search/reddit. so that's a plus. you really have to fight with it sometimes. for example it only wants to use bash on cachyos when i primarily use alacritty and fish.

biggest concern i have with this setup now and "vibe coding" is the insane wattage that's used right when you hit that prompt for zed editor/deepseek. reminds me of when i tried to mine bitcoin for a bit.

seriously tho if wow ever got a job like system for your single character. i'd just play wow and level every class/spec for fun. i'm so sick and tired of needing to make an alt to play off spec.

excited to see pc temps when i get the 2 other fans runninng. so far really cool and quiet. amd 9800x3d/red devil 9070 xt.

now that i finally have a desktop built for "the future" i can focus on a laptop for mobile. after that i think i'm done. then maybe iphone fold if/when that happens.

Finally fixed the red devil 9070 xt coil whine with ffxiv. Apparently ffxiv is just a poorly optimized pos.
