I think it might be time for our cat. The guy is down to 5 lbs and currently is only willing to eat gravy. It's a bummer.

Made fresh squeezed pomegranate juice. Better than store bought but not enough to justify effort. Juice was not worth the squeeze.

Infused 2 lbs of plums into a fifth of whisky and it is a tremendous success. Still have about 15lbs in the freezer so I might make another batch.

Seems like every couple of years I discover new things that highlight how dysfunctional and isolated my extended family is. I honestly did not realize this was so common.
Speaking as a dude who has a yearly family reunion, "aunt" and "uncle" fill a role, what the fuck are you supposed to call all those other older people you're vaguely related to, do you think there's someone running around with an org chart saying who's a second cousin thrice removed or something
