⚡2024 saw a record 35GW added to India’s power sector, comprising mostly solar PV (24.5GW) and wind (3.4GW).

Great progress, but these additions must grow ~15% per year to meet the 2030 target of 500GW non-fossil capacity 🎯

🌍 Wind & solar capacity grew 20% in 2024, but the world must move faster to get projects online.

Failing to do so could jeopardize the pace & scale necessary for meeting the goal of tripling renewables capacity by 2030 set at #COP28.
