Day 14: In retrospect, I'm beginning to think my years long infatuation with dystopian YA literature was a bad choice for my current mental health.

Today’s commute “No one likes a mad woman” playlist (nod to Taylor) shuffle choices were particularly bouncy/singable.

“Nightmare” by Halsey
“Sit Still, Look Pretty” by Daya (a twin favorite)
“Bellyache” by Billie Eilish
“Just a Girl” by No Doubt
“The Greatest” by Sia (featuring Kendrick Lamar)

Twin A just told her dad that he’s more immature than her, and that’s saying something since she’s 15 and he’s 47. He just laughed at her.

Trying to do a self-care and not go into work today, but my people-pleasing brain is freaking out because of a situation my work created by not hiring a replacement for the afternoon shift lady who retired.

ACTUALLY using my PTO is the closest I get to sticking it to the man.

I'm doomed.

What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently
