I haven’t logged into Twitter in awhile. Looks like the algorithm has been tuned into right wing TikTok with Temu ads?

Does Accenture even know what Accenture does?

Social media needs an unsubscribe button like email: “I’ve read every possible take on this trending story. Please hide all future posts about it.”

We’ve hit the point where a lot of the tech from sci-fi movies is possible but makes almost no sense to build in the real world

How about most social media apps stop with all of this chatbot integrations and instead help me with simple spelling mistakes before I post…

Sad that a company with the name of “OpenAI” might have fundamentally killed off the “research in public” philosophy the tech industry has had since the early 2000s.

One fear I have with AI coding is that we will become complacent with the quality of the libraries and abstractions in our tools and coding languages.

Most code generation is helping with bad library and PL design. Looking at you matplotlib in particular.

How goes gmail have all of these useless fancy LLM features but nothing that screams at you if you accidentally misspell someone's name in the body of an email.

Working with LLMs after years of coding is… frustrating. With traditional coding, the computer does exactly what you tell it—a blessing and a curse.

With LLMs? You’re left guessing what they’ll do, even while debugging.

Anyone wants a very unsexy idea for an "AI" company look into appliance part replacement...

Something so very Las Vegas that the new A's stadium in the city will have a view overlooking a fake NYC skyline.

Why do folks look for email clients like they are IDEs? Do people spend 6hrs+ a day in there? Have they heard of slack?

Amazing how leet code interview fallacy has now migrated to AI.

Just because you can solve a competitive programing challenge doesn't mean you can handle incrementally building complex code with vague requirements.

If I was gifted any car in the world, the absolute last one I’d ever drive (or even keep) would be the Cybertruck. Close runners-up: the original Hummer or a Monster Truck.

OpenAI making AGI as a part of the contract with Microsoft means we are going to spend a lot 25 arguing over what is and isn't AGI.

Reddit answers looks quite promising. Search has been the feature holding it back for a long time.

Why does AI drug discovery continue to be point out by LLM companies over and over again without anyone actually trying it. ChatGPT struggles even writing the smiles for tiny molecules like Diacetyl or Acetoin…

Lot of people are attempting to couple AI agents and Crypto in ways that makes no sense. Feels like the crypto hype cycle of a few years ago.

I both hate streamlit but keep coming back to it. It is almost perfectly made for chatgpting fast ML demos in 10 minutes.

Many deep regrets about not putting out Christmas lights on a 60 degree Nov day because it was “too soon”. Now I need to put them out today at 25 degrees because it’s almost Christmas.

Given Nvidia’s history it is surprising to see them likely to release the new gaming chips in Jan and just ignore the entire holiday season. They used to launch in Sept for a reason.

Starter packs are cool, but I miss something about organic follows—finding people who share your interests and you know well enough to have real conversations.

One unexpected thing I learned from watching the McMahon doc. Everything about Trump makes so much more sense.

Nice of LinkedIn to show my own months old post into my feed. Really leaning into that narcissism.

My biggest issue with Chatgpt is that the areas where it is the most helpful, doing some simple but mundane data transformations, OpenAI has programmed it to give up after a few lines. Very frustrating, it is like asking an intern to help clean up data and they return after doing 5 lines.
