For #StandingStoneSunday, some stones I visited in Machynlleth, where I live, this week. 1. Maen Llwyd: a Neolithic/Bronze Age standing stone, now strangely situated in a cul-de-sac of bungalows on a housing estate. 2. On hill above, a modern stone circle, erected for an Eisteddfod here in the 80s?
