Note that iPhone's default is to keep messages forever. But you can have them automatically deleted after one year or 30 days.
You should lock your phone with a passcode or facial recognition. But that wouldn’t stop wireless companies, law enforcement, or hackers from reading your most mundane SMS missives—even without physical access to your phone.

So relieved. Now, if only I can get some relief over worrying about how the hell I'll pay for my insurance next year if they (you know who I'm tawkin' about!) cancel ACA subsidies. #NYYankees #ACA

Scottsdale Restaurant Week: BF won giftcards to Fox Restaurant Concepts. Reserved a table @ Culinary Dropout. Everything was delayed: seating, meal, etc. Still, superb meal & service. Staff says Fox has the lowest staffing rates. Fox really wants to burn out their excellent staff. #corporatedining

Piles of trash left outside State Farm Stadium after The Memorial. Reminds me of the human crush in the DC metro that trampled toddlers after one of those fetal rights marches.

I didn't have a hard time canceling Prime - I hadn't even been aware I "signed up" until I saw the charge. Grrr. Why aren't they compensating people they duped like FB has to?
Amazon agreed to a $2.5 billion settlement with the FTC, resolving allegations that it deceived users into signing up for Prime service and purposefully made it difficult to cancel.

This is a huge deal, folks. If the Republican version of the spending bill goes through, those of us who get our health insurance through ACA/Obamacare will lose the subsidies that make getting insurance possible. I'm one of them - this is personal! www.cnbc.com/2025/09/10/a... #ACA
