If there was no VAR, Southampton's 'goal' last night would have been disallowed anyway as there was an offside flag. Same as for the Liverpool goal v Spurs last season.
In both these incidents, the absence of VAR would have changed nothing except where the vitriol was aimed.

I thought I'd dip my toe in the BlueSky water. I liked early Twitter, but became a less frequent user and finally deleted my account around the time of the takeover.
