If you get a DM from me, this is why

it's not an AI sales lead or anything
I need to post more and scroll less

More posts, more DMs, more emails, more letters, more blog posts, more websites, more designs, more ideas, more saying hey that's pretty cool
This will end well 😬 👀

I won't tell anyone if I've made it but there will be signs.

6 months of razor blades locked and loaded.

I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle. Reading about his care and generosity really brings a warm feeling to my heart

I want to call that phone number but I don't know how 😂

Posting more and scrolling less is the way.

Updated my profile. I'm pleased with it. :)

I help builders, creatives, and nonprofit leaders think more clearly, make better decisions, and build things that matter.

I share good vibes generously.
I give advice cautiously.

Definitely the cost.
The Ghost trial was nice, I liked the user experience but $18 a month eventually gets discouraging

Ghost is probably better for larger audiences than for people just starting out

It always feels good when the DNS changes have resolved

Migrating new blog/newsletter from Ghost to Substack

Thankfully it was just a handful of pages and the longest part of it will be the DNS stuff

If anyone has a nonprofit and would like a quick roast of their homepage, I would be happy to do that for free

I had to print this one, to paper.

That look back can be brutal for all writers 😂

I routinely bounce between I am a great writer and I shouldn't be allowed to put words on paper

I think you owe yourself two benefits of doubt here

1. They probably didn't even read it if they called it AI slop

2. Or the writing was too good and they expect that to only come from AI at this point

The cardinal book is done.
Starting on the sparrow book. The bright tones are welcome during the winter gray days.

I'm very happy for you Mark. That's a fantastic monthly take in the indie maker space!

Starting a new blog and I've wasted way too much mental bandwidth on topic categories (and what they would be) vs no topic categories

Decision: no topic categories

Can revisit this in 2027
