The $11M settlement with Riverview was a win, but Rep. Lupe Diaz (R-Benson) did not like it and introduced 3 bills to stifle the AG’s ability to respond to citizen concerns when irresponsible corp. actors ruin AZ’s quality of life. ☎️ Call your Rep. and ask them to oppose HB2167, HB2168 and HB2169!

A week after the murder of Renee Good in Minneapolis took place, the AZ GOP introduced a bill, HB 2018, that would increase penalties for fleeing law enforcement.

Today that bill was heard in committee. Our team and community organizers packed the room to speak out against it. 🙅🏼🙅‍♂️🙅‍♀️

A proposal at the Legislature would slash early voting, making it harder for rural & tribal voters to cast a ballot.

In the Arizona Mirror, Antonio Ramirez, calls this an attempt to change the rules because some politicians can’t win fair elections.
