More running during work time to drop off/collect vans - 4 miles today and planning on 10 miles tomorrow as that garage is further away. Waiting for someone to realise how much I am enjoying myself and stop me! #running #runningviews

Started running a couple of hours after the torrential rain stopped and an hour before the sun set - finished 9.2 miles in the dark. Can’t wait for parkrun tomorrow (even in the rain) as I’m back to my dancing marshal position - playlist ready and I’ll have company this week! #parkrun #running

Wet weather dampened attendance at the 7 NE Wales parkruns (but not spirits!) w/665 runners/walkers & 134 volunteers. Last week, when our event was cancelled, there were 729 participants at only 6 events. Never mind the rain - we danced in our tutus anyway! #parkrun #running #dancing

Entered a half marathon for 2026 so feel a new sense of purpose even though it is months away. Trying to talk friends & colleagues into joining me (& partly succeeding). Cycled home just before the rain started and then headed out with my head torch to run 4 miles #running #oak #halfmarathon

Only 5 of 7 parkruns operated in NE Wales this week (Storm Claudia) with 729 runners/walkers (+ 24 versus the same 5 events last year). 129 volunteers gave their time. My local was cancelled so I got to run through the mud at Erddig! #running #parkrun #trailrunning

Another 4 miles run but at an easy pace tonight. Torrential rain predicted for #parkrun Eve tomorrow so there is a chance our parkrun will be cancelled if the river rises too much. Doing course checking so will hopefully know in time to get to a different event. #running #oak

A relatively rare, sunny autumnal day and reduced mileage for the week as nursing a niggle (an equally rare showing of common sense for me when it comes to running, I am informed) - rested yesterday and only 4 miles today. Hoping normal activity will resume shortly #running #runchat

Damp conditions (again) reduced #parkrun attendance w/907 runners/walkers at the 7 NE Wales events versus 901 for 6 events for the same week in ‘24. 135 volunteers gave their time. The sun appeared halfway through but after the rain had already created slip-n-slide conditions on our course #running
