This monster thing definitely looks like Gideon to me.
My theory is Gideon is like the Dimitrescu of Requiem and he's only going to be in the first part of the game. Maybe to demonstrate an Elpis effect?
I have a feeling we don't know the true villain of Requiem yet...👀
