A dress made of shadow (OC sketch - Straka)

Dragons, creatures, and one rat.
A dragon with a very pointy headshape. It has an extra pair of smaller wings connected to its back legs. Long noodly creature with a blocky headshape. Its head and neck is drawn in thin linework, and the rest is a lineless illusion done in thick ink-like blotches. A thick, heavy-bodied lizard-looking creature. It is covered in scales. A portrait of a rat. Probably not well made. I didn't use a reference lol as it was done super quick.

Sorry I’ve been dead, been running on fumes lately. Just surviving. Zero motivation to do anything and drawing feels more like a chore than anything right now.

Ughh I hate this “phase” of mine. I wish I could draw or do creative stuff but my hands and brain do not want to cooperate.

If you actually have a reasonable budget to hire an artist for your project, TELL THEM IN YOUR INITIAL EMAIL TO THEM. Right off the bat. Here is the project, this is what I can pay, this is the deadline. We get so many time wasters it’s remarkably refreshing when a potential client is upfront

I'm feeling a bit discouraged. I'm having horrible luck with socials and getting my name out there. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, am I not posting enough?
I know it's rough out here, but how is it possible I had more comms and engagement few years ago with much worse quality than I do now.. 😭
