I spent some time before the storms biking on the Missions path to destress. I spotted some very ripe looking Prickly Pears. Unfortunately foraging on public trails is not allowed in Texas. Neither is vandalism, but someone -- not me -- got away with some creative vandalism.
A cluster of prickly pear green cactus pads and their purple fruit. One pad has the shape of Texas crudely carved out of its center.

The morning clouds broke up and moved south just in time for the annular eclipse from San Antonio, TX.
